Amazing it has been seven years since transplant. Seems like yesterday. I am so sorry all this is happening, but it still makes me happy to see how her life has changed since transplant. Maybe healing will take place and another transplant will not be necessary. We are all praying for that and please know that our thoughts and love are with you always.

Thanks Debra for the update. Christena God will always give you the grace to get through what he gives you, but at times that can be so tough. Your in my prayers and your way of life is so living it to the fullest of Gods ways that it is an inspiration to all. I am sorry that things have been so difficult yet I know that you count every day as a blessing with your loving husband by your side and during the tough times is reminded that you are so loved by all those that know you. Please take care. Love - Amy

Christena,
I'm one of those "Moms" that recently e-mailed your Mom because we hadn't heard anything for so long. While it sounds like you've had your share of challenges the past year, it was good to hear you and your sweet husband are on top of things. I was most impressed by your relationship with your mother-in-law -- another testament to your sweet personality. I hear so many horror stories of daughter-in-law/mother-in-law relationships. Guess I shouldn't have been surprised - your relationship with Kevin reads like "Love Story! "
Wishing you a good year ahead - you all deserve it!
Take good care, Neva (Lucy's Oma)

Hello Everyone:

Deb - thanks for sending the update.  Sounds like the rollercoaster continues and that you all continue to make a mark on living life the way it should be.  It is amazing how God has used these really challenging times to clarify and define what is important - family, friends, love, laughter - not only for your family, but for everyone who reads these updates.

My love and prayers continue for all of you continue to be part of my daily efforts.  Blessings to peace to all!

Hello Gabeharts!

Sounds like you have had a crazy holiday season.  It is great to hear that George is doing better.  I think of  you all daily and know that God continues to use your family to impact so many others.  You will probably never know the effect of your lives on family, friends, and unknown individuals who are moved by your life stories and desire to serve God in all situations.

Love and Hugs to everyone!  Trac

Thanks for the update.  I know you're feeling a lot of relief right now.  I'll certainly keep all of you in my prayers.  I hadn't talked to anyone so I didn't know about George.  I pray that Christena, Kevin, and George all continue to do well.
Jim was in the hospital in Dec. as well.  He had a bad urinary infection.  It has been over a year now since he almost didn't make it.  Please keep him in your prayers as well.

I am thrilled that both George and Christena are improving. I have thought of you so much over the last month. Such a roller coaster ride for all of you. I will continue to pray that they both continue to improve and all is fine with Kevin. Much love going toward your way.Pat
